August 2023 – Present | Lead Sustainable Product Future Design

Worked with L.A. based brand ‘Uprisers’ to design an upcycled apparel collection using unsold Nike garments. Designed, patterned, sewed, and fit the garments while aligning with collaborator on creative direction. Participated in fittings and managed fit, design, trim, material, graphic and pattern updates which I communicated to factory partners and collaborators. Maintained technical sketches, BOMs, tech packs, trims, and line plans across all other collections. Developed designs for quick turnaround projects for football clubs and ACG. This included designing silhouettes, graphics, CLO3D mockups, 3D modeling for 3D printed elements, patterning, and sewing final samples.

March 2022 – March 2023 | Technical Designer II Contractor

Created mock-ups of seasonal styles in CLO3D to determine garment fit, style lines, and graphic applications. Conducted fittings, generated tech packs, and communicated with factories on sample creation. Re-imagined Blocks Library to be more user-friendly and created realistic renders of Nike’s blocks for easy design-reference. Worked on products across Men’s Sport Performance, Basketball, Football, and Running with a focus on wovens.

Conducted market research, gathered inspiration, and designed product upgrades such as new jean silhouettes, jean accessories (patches and keychains), and branding hits. Designed pitch decks for brand collaborations, social media content, and updated product packaging. Redesigned tech pack and created flat sketches for production. Created high resolution renders of unspun jeans in CLO3D for VIP customers and investors. Produced custom pant patterns for customers based on their digital body scan in VStitcher. Advised styling and model posing for photoshoots.

Worked with Calvin Klein design team to recolor 3D garments in Lotta for new market decks. Worked on Calvin Klein Underwear, Lounge wear, and Ready to Wear. Photoshopped undergarments and lounge wear onto models. Created digital heathered knit fabric swatches for 3D use.

Constructed outer garment for EVA space suit prototype. Developed patterns and sewed prototype for a Lunar Boot insert that allowed a small foot to fit into a large boot. Constructed medical compression garment, communication cap, and liquid cooling garment. Developed patterns and sewed costumes for Adidas and Dell.

Sourced trims and fabrics for upcoming collections and gained insight into sustainable garment production at scale.
